The CIA plans to start competition for a potential seven-year, single-award contract for cloud integration and related support services that could be valued at approximately $1B to $5B, Bloomberg Government reported Wednesday.
BGOV said the Cloud Integration and Multi-Cloud Management contract will include cloud brokerage, governance services, customer services and multicloud management support to allow U.S. intelligence agencies to use services offered by Cloud Computing Enterprise contract awardees Amazon Web Services, IBM (NYSE: IBM), Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT), Oracle (NYSE: ORCL) and Google.
The CIMM contractor will act as an intermediary between cloud providers and intelligence agencies, regularly report on the C2E program’s performance and provide training on cloud services, according to the statement of work.
Interested bidders should state in their responses their experience overseeing multicloud environments at unclassified, Top Secret and Secret levels, working with the five cloud vendors under the C2E program and delivering cloud implementation and consulting services.
Responses to the presolicitation notice are due Dec. 7.
