The federal business of Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has received a one-year, $65.4M other transaction agreement from the U.S. Air Force to conduct risk reduction efforts for an enterprise information technology-as-a-service platform. Accenture Federal Services will help the military branch develop, operate and maintain a hosting platform for storing and processing applications and data, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Kamal Narang: General Dynamics to Continue CMS Support Under Potential $276M Contract

A business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has secured a potential five-year, $276.5M contract to extend its support work on a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services system used to manage benefits and payments for a federal health insurance program. General Dynamics Information Technology will support Medicare customer service, electronic data exchange, debt transaction processing and digital imaging functions of the Benefits Coordination & Recovery Center, the company said Friday.
