Lockheed Martin has appointed Mark Kvasnak, currently vice president and chief financial officer of the company’s rotary and mission systems, or RMS, business area, as VP of investor relations, effective March 16.
The Bethesda, Maryland-based aerospace and defense contractor said Thursday Kvasnak will succeed Maria Ricciardone, who will remain VP and treasurer and continue serving as an elected officer of the company.
What Additional Responsibilities Will Maria Ricciardone Assume?
Ricciardone will assume additional functional responsibilities, including oversight of global treasury operations, cash management, foreign exchange and capital markets, and other worldwide banking activities. She will also continue managing rating agency relations, capital planning and risk management as Lockheed advances efforts to scale and invest in its operations.
Who Is Mark Kvasnak?
Kvasnak brings more than 30 years of experience in the aerospace and defense sector, with a background in financial controls, financial planning and analysis, and business operations.
As CFO of Lockheed’s RMS segment, he oversees financial strategies, processes and operations.
Before joining Lockheed RMS, he was VP and CFO of Sikorsky. According to his LinkedIn profile, he also held finance leadership roles at L-3 Communications, IBM and Harris RF Communications.
The Clarkson University graduate holds a master of business administration degree from the University of Rochester.
