  • The task order covers service desk, knowledge center and IT service management operations

Empower AI has secured a potential $205.1 million task order from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency for enterprise IT customer support services.

What Is the Scope of the Task Order?

The Department of War said Thursday the hybrid firm-fixed-price, labor-hour and time-and-materials task order covers service desk and knowledge center operations, IT service management, and IT lifecycle services. Empower AI will also provide end-user and endpoint support, as well as collaboration and communications support.

The task order comes as DCSA carries out its 2025-2030 IT Strategic Plan, which calls for IT modernization; cloud capabilities; enhanced data management; and a secure, scalable environment.

What Are the Other Details of the Contract?

The task order has a face value of $36.9 million and can reach $205.1 million if all options are exercised. The Reston, Virginia-based company will conduct work in Quantico, Virginia, with a base period running from Sept. 21, 2026, through June 20, 2027.

DCSA obligated $26.1 million at the time of award using fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance and defense working capital fund appropriations. DCSA Procurement Solutions in Quantico is the contracting activity.

The award adds to Empower AI’s recent enterprise IT work, following a potential $145.6 million Digital Innovation for General Services Administration Infrastructure Technologies Next Generation, or DIGIT XGen, task order awarded in July under the GSA’s Alliant 2 governmentwide acquisition contract. The company was also among the 43 companies selected for the first phase of GSA’s Alliant 3 GWAC in February. Empower AI was additionally selected for NASA’s SEWP VI contract vehicle, which has an estimated ceiling of more than $60 billion over 10 years and covers IT, AI and emerging technology services.
