The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has awarded Everforth ECS a two-year prime contract extension worth more than $200 million to continue its geospatial intelligence work. Under the extended contract, the company will continue providing program management, software engineering, systems integration and interoperability, capability federation, training and tradecraft, and user adoption support.

“The value of GEOINT SI is what it enables analysts, decision makers, and warfighters to do: get the right intelligence faster and act with greater confidence in complex, rapidly changing environments,” said Donnie Scott, president of Everforth ECS. “Our team has earned NGA’s trust by turning advanced technology into operational capability. With this extension, we will continue bringing together mission understanding, engineering, interoperability, and SI to accelerate adoption and deliver better mission outcomes.”

What Is Super Intelligence?

President Donald Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to adopt the term “Super Intelligence,” or SI, in official communications. The order stated that the new name better reflects how far the capabilities of frontier systems have advanced. It also states that the executive branch will not recognize the older terms in applicable settings.

What Work Does the Everforth ECS Contract Extension Continue?

NGA awarded Everforth ECS the base Canyonlands contract, worth $104.3 million, in September 2025 to support AI development and demonstration, disclosing the sole-source award after announcing its intent in July of that year.

Canyonlands carried over research topic areas from Project Runway, a $190 million Army contract the company won in 2023 and performed under Army Research Laboratory administration. Runway addressed challenges in operationalizing the Department of War’s AI work, including developing and integrating GEOINT AI for cloud-based and on-premises environments. Oversight moved to NGA under Canyonlands, which has a 12-month base period.

NGA serves as both a combat support agency and a member of the intelligence community, supplying geospatial intelligence for national security and defense missions.

What Other Federal Work Does Everforth ECS Hold?

The company changed its name from ECS in April after its parent company, ASGN, rebranded as Everforth. It trades on the New York Stock Exchange under EFOR.

Two Department of Homeland Security recompetes where the company is the incumbent are moving toward solicitation. DHS plans to release a solicitation this month for enterprise platform management support, a requirement worth more than $100 million, covering internal systems built on Atlassian, GitLab, ServiceNow and SharePoint Online, as well as Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics work. The department separately forecasts a data engineering support services follow-on valued between $50 million and $100 million, with a solicitation expected in January 2027 and an award in the second quarter of that fiscal year.

Everforth ECS was among four initial awardees in June on ADaPTS 2.0, a five-year, $640 million blanket purchase agreement for technical and professional services supporting DHS IT programs.
