Angela Heise, a more than two-decade information technology and cybersecurity veteran, has joined Microsoft’s (Nasdaq: MSFT) worldwide public sector organization as corporate vice president for defense and intelligence.
Julia Glidden, CVP for Microsoft’s worldwide public sector, announced Heise’s appointment in a LinkedIn post Friday.
Heise previously worked at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) as president of civil group, where she oversaw the delivery of platforms to U.S. cabinet-level agencies and public and private sector organizations with a focus on IT, cybersecurity, federal infrastructure, logistics, energy and the environment, transportation security and air traffic automation.
Prior to Leidos, she spent nearly two decades at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and held leadership roles, including VP of commercial markets, VP of enterprise IT solutions and director of the Army Corps of Engineers – IT program.
Heise currently serves on the board of directors of insurance company Essent Guaranty.
