GDIT said Thursday the Federal Health Division, which will provide consulting, technology, and mission services to the departments of Health and Human Services and Veterans Affairs, among other federal health agencies, was established to continue the health business growth momentum under Narang’s leadership.
“Supporting the health and well-being of our citizens, veterans, military, and senior and vulnerable populations through technology has been my life’s passion,” said Narang.
GDIT Contract Wins
Over the last three years, GDIT secured new and recompete federal health contracts worth more than $4 billion. The awards include a $2.5 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to modernize the Indian Health Service’s electronic health record system, a $450 million contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to operate and modernize an accounting system and an $84 million contract to support the Defense Health Agency’s Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence.

The General Dynamics business unit now has four divisions, namely Defense, Federal Civilian, Federal Health, and Intelligence and Homeland Security, serving major U.S. government agencies.
