Sirius Computer Solutions has agreed to purchase Crofton, Maryland-based security firm Force 3 for an undisclosed sum to expand Sirius’ portfolio of computer networking and security offerings for the federal sector.
Joe Mertens, president and CEO of Sirius, said Thursday the companies also seek to access new government technology contract vehicles.
“We share similar core values as well as a desire to provide the right end-to-end solutions our clients need, ” Mertens added.
Force 3 provides infrastructure design, implementation, maintenance and security support services for public sector enterprise networks and data centers.
San Antonio, Texas-based Sirius works with clients to help them integrate enterprise or data center platforms and implement analytics, cloud computing, mobility, optimization and security tools.
The deal represents Sirius’ fourth major acquisition in the past 18 months.
