CACI International has secured a potential five-year, $231 million task order from the Naval Information Warfare Center, or NIWC, Atlantic to continue providing tactical satellite communications support for U.S. Special Operations Command, or USSOCOM.

The company said Thursday the award continues nearly 20 years of service to USSOCOM.

John Mengucci, president and CEO of CACI, said the company’s relationship with NIWC Atlantic and its commitment to continuous innovation reflect the company’s focus on the responsibility, adding it remains dedicated to supporting customers and warfighters when and where needed.

What Is the Scope of the USSOCOM Task Order?

CACI will provide systems engineering, technology evaluation, network and software engineering, systems certification, and integration and testing under the task order.

The company will also deliver training, maintenance, logistics and lifecycle sustainment management to support warfighters in global operations.

The task order has a one-year base term and four option years and covers program visibility support to NIWC Atlantic.

What Are CACI’s Recent Defense Contract Awards?

CACI has secured multiple recent awards across defense customers, including a potential $306 million Defense Logistics Agency task order to provide software development support for the Defense Agencies Initiative and a $287 million U.S. Army contract to modernize the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army.

The company also received a potential $250 million Army task order to support spectrum dominance efforts.

The latest award came a month after CACI closed its acquisition of ARKA Group to expand its space-based sensing and geospatial intelligence capabilities in support of national security customers.
