The company has held this contract since 2005 and the new award contains a phase-in period, a base period, two option years and two award term years, Exelis said Tuesday.
“Providing a multitude of critical IT services to our nation’s warfighters is a vital discipline at Exelis, ” said Ken Hunzeker, president of Exelis’ mission systems division.
Exelis will perform the work for the Army’s Network Enterprise Technology Command, as well as the 160th Signal Brigade and its subordinate commands across the regions.
Work will occur at Exelis’ management office in Kuwait and the Army Contracting Command’s office at Fort Huachuca, Ariz., is the contracting activity.
