NASA Preps Follow-On Software Engineering Support IDIQ Worth Up to $423M

NASA expects to finalize a request for proposals for the next iteration of its Software Engineering Services contract vehicle in May. A presolicitation notice says the SES III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will have a potential $423.2M maximum ordering value, which includes a unilateral upward adjustment rate of 30 percent for program-related uncertainties.

DARPA Taps Northrop, Raytheon, Collins Aerospace to Develop Counter-A2/AD Platforms

Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Collins Aerospace has landed contracts from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop technology platforms for countering anti-access/area denial threats. DARPA selected the three companies to participate in the first and second phases of the System-of -Systems Enhanced Small Unit program, according to a notice posted Tuesday on the beta SAM website.

The U.S. Air Force has selected six companies to support construction projects on Germany-based military sites under a potential five-year, $425M contract. Contractors will design, build, repair, alter, renovate, maintain or sustain commercial and residential structures under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
