General Dynamics' (NYSE: GD) land systems unit has won a $4.62B contract to provide the U.S. Army a set of new Abrams M1A2 battle tanks in the most modern configuration. The company will deliver Abrams units with System Enhancement Package Version 3 through June 17, 2028, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Honeywell Gets $1B Army Contract Modification for Main Battle Tank Engine Support

Honeywell International (NYSE: HON) will support automotive gas turbine engines that power the U.S. Army's M1 Abrams main battle tanks under a $1.1B contract modification. Army Contracting Command expects the company to finish work on the Automotive Gas Turbine 1500 engine contract modification by Sept. 30, 2025, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

Army Exercises $888M in Oshkosh JLTV Production Contract Options

Oshkosh's (NYSE: OSK) defense segment has received contract options worth $888.4M from the U.S. Army to manufacture additional Joint Light Tactical Vehicle vehicles, trailers and kits. Army Contracting Command issued the modification to exercise options for the supply of 2,679 vehicles, 6,725 kits and 1,001 trailers to military customers, the Department of Defense said Monday.

General Dynamics Awarded $1.2B to Build Army’s Short-Range Air Defense System


A business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has secured a potential five-year, $1.22B contract from the U.S. Army to manufacture and test systems that are designed to destroy, neutralize or deter low-altitude aerial threats. General Dynamics Land Systems will provide interim Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense systems to the military service, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
