AECOM Gets $101M Army Prepositioned Stock Logistics Contract Modification

AECOM (NYSE: ACM) has been awarded a one-year, $101M contract modification for logistics support to the Army Prepositioned Stocks-5 program. The company's management services business will continue helping the service brand manage the supply and transportation of APS-5 equipment for soldiers in Camp Arifjan, Kuwait and Doha, Qatar, the Department of Defense said Monday.

GE Secures $1.3B Modification on US, FMS Helicopter Engine Supply Contract

General Electric's (NYSE: GE) aviation business has secured a $1.33B contract modification for delivery of T700 rotary aircraft engines to U.S. and international defense customers. The company will provide T700s for H-60 Black Hawk, AH-64 Apache and other helicopter programs of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, other government entities and foreign military sales clients, the Department of Defense said Monday.
