BAE Unit Gets $339M Contract Modification for Army Howitzer, Ammo Carrier Vehicle Sets

BAE Systems' land and armaments business has secured a $339.1M contract modification to provide additional self-propelled howitzers and accompanying carrier ammunition tracked vehicles to the U.S. Army. Akima Wins $101M Army Fort Hood Logistics Support Contract

Akima's support operations subsidiary has won a potential $101.3M contract to help the U.S. Army address logistical requirements on its Fort Hood installation in Texas. Army Contracting Command received 11 bids for the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise support contract via the internet, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
