Oracle Unveils $1B Partner Investment to Advance AI-Enabled Tech Delivery

  • The four-year commitment covers training, cloud migration and marketplace support
  • Partners can select benefits suited to their business strategies
  • Oracle AI Success Navigator supports partners after deployment

Oracle has committed $1 billion over four years to its partner ecosystem to help partners deliver the artificial intelligence-based products and services customers are seeking.

The company said Friday the funding will support new and expanded benefits and incentives under the Oracle PartnerNetwork.

What Does Oracle’s $1 Billion Partner Investment Cover?

Planned resources include certification and training programs, technical support, environments for building, testing and showcasing solutions, go-to-market collaboration, funding for cloud migration efforts, and access to Oracle Marketplace for selling partner offerings.

The investment targets four areas. For solution development, Oracle will provide development and testing environments, technical guidance and integration validation to help partners build applications, accelerators and AI agents on Oracle technology. To support sales and growth, partners will receive joint marketing support, demonstration environments, funding for qualifying opportunities and Oracle Marketplace listings.

For project delivery, training, migration support and advisory services will help partners carry out customer engagements across application implementation, database modernization and cloud services. Under customer success, resources such as Oracle AI Success Navigator will help partners drive feature adoption and add value for customers after deployment.

What Is the Oracle PartnerNetwork?

The Oracle PartnerNetwork is a program through which Oracle works with partners on training, enablement, go-to-market activities, technical accelerators and customer success support. Its members include systems integrators, independent software vendors, cloud and managed service providers, distributors, resellers and advisory firms working across Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Database, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, industry applications and AI services.

What Did Oracle Officials Say About the Investment?

Mark Hura, president of Oracle Global Field Operations, said partners broaden Oracle’s sales and delivery capabilities while contributing their own innovation and investment to address customer needs.

“Through the Oracle PartnerNetwork, we’re strengthening our ability to reach more customers, deliver solutions at scale, and accelerate innovation and business outcomes,” Hura added.

Leah Yomtovian, senior vice president of partner, sales and operations strategy at Oracle, noted that the investment is designed to accommodate partners’ varied business models, capabilities and growth goals.

“By giving partners greater choice and flexibility in how they build, sell, and deliver with Oracle, we’re helping them grow their businesses while bringing more innovation, specialized expertise, and value to our customers,” she said.

What Has Oracle Done Recently in the Federal AI Market?

Oracle’s partner investment follows several moves to expand its cloud and AI offerings for government customers. In February, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to support its cloud migration effort, with OCI providing integrated analytics and AI tools along with end-to-end migration assistance.

In March, Oracle secured Defense Information Systems Agency Impact Level 5 and FedRAMP High authorizations for OCI Generative AI and other cloud services, including Exadata Cloud@Customer and MySQL HeatWave.

In July, the Navy awarded Oracle a potential 10-year, $6.99 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract under the Department of War’s Enterprise Software Initiative, which lets authorized organizations procure Oracle software licenses, software-as-a-service offerings, customer success services and consulting services.

Oracle has worked with partners to expand public sector access to its technology. Carahsoft serves as Oracle’s public sector distributor, and Oracle and Google Cloud launched a reseller program that allows members of both companies’ partner networks to resell Oracle Database@Google Cloud. Rancher Government Solutions partnered with Oracle through the Oracle PartnerNetwork to deliver edge-to-cloud computing capabilities to federal agencies.
