Sigmatech has secured a $249.2 million contract from the U.S. Army to support the integration and sustainment of capabilities for a digital enterprise decision environment.
What Is the Scope of the Sigmatech Contract?
The Department of War said Thursday that under the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, the Huntsville, Alabama-based company will implement and integrate Small Business Innovation Research Phase III capabilities for the Army’s decision-making environment. The contract also covers the capabilities’ sustainment and continued development.
The contract is expected to be completed by Oct. 25, 2036. Work locations and funding allocations will be determined as individual orders are issued.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama is the contracting activity. The Army solicited one bid and received one response.
What Other Defense Contracts Has Sigmatech Won?
The Army award adds to Sigmatech’s portfolio of defense contracts. In July, the company received a separate $108.9 million Air Force contract for systems engineering and technical assistance to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Space Acquisition and Integration.
Sigmatech also holds positions on two other contract vehicles: the Space Force’s Hemisphere advisory support contract and the Air Force’s Test & Evaluation Technologies for Ranges, Armaments & Spectrum II, or TETRAS II, contract vehicle.
The Hemisphere contract provides support to two Space Systems Command program executive offices, including Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power, and Battle Management, Command, Control and Communications. Through TETRAS II, the 96th Range Group and other DOW customers can build and modify test and evaluation systems and facilities.
