What Is the Geospatial Information System Software & Services Contract?
The contract is a DHS-managed blanket purchase agreement that provides enterprise-level GIS software and support services across the department. The BPA is expected to be awarded in the third quarter of 2026 and will run through May 29, 2031. Work will be performed in Washington, D.C. The solicitation is expected to be released by the end of February.
What Is the Scope of the GIS BPA?
Under the firm-fixed-price contract, the selected contractor will provide maintenance support for existing software licenses, as well as technical services for architectural design and system implementation. The deal will also cover access to internet-based geospatial content, helpdesk and technical support services, online and instructor-led training, and additional GIS software licenses, including temporary licenses to support response efforts during incidents of national significance.
