Conti Federal Services, a construction and design-build firm, has received a $97.3 million contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Pacific Ocean Division, Honolulu District, to build company operations facilities at South Range Schofield Barracks in Hawaii.
What Is the Scope of Conti Federal’s Design-Bid-Build Military Construction Contract?
The company said Thursday the design-bid-build military construction project aims to construct new infrastructure supporting mission readiness and administrative operations for four companies and a troop aid station within the 225th Brigade Support Battalion.
The contract covers the construction of five new buildings, including two readiness module structures, two covered hardstands and one administrative module. The facilities will serve as a centralized hub for command and control, unit supply and equipment operations, maintenance and inspection, deployment readiness and secure storage for mission-critical equipment. The project also supports the consolidation of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, at Schofield Barracks’ South Range.
According to Jason Roberts, business development director for the Indo-Pacific region at Conti Federal, the DBB MILCON project adds to the company’s existing Pacific portfolio and aligns with its efforts to strengthen its presence in the Indo-Pacific region.
“As the region continues to be a focal point for U.S. defense priorities, we’re proud to contribute the infrastructure that enables mission readiness and regional stability,” said Roberts.
