Before his promotion, Krafft served as the director of national security and federal systems integrators, a position he had held since joining Broadcom in 2023. Prior to that, he spent over 11 years at VMware, most recently as the VP of federal. Krafft was also the senior director of the U.S. Army, DISA & defense agencies from 2020 to 2023 and director of Army sales from 2015 to 2020. In his director role, Krafft oversaw the Army team and was responsible for developing and implementing VMware’s Army strategy, driving the growth of the Army business. He also served as a client executive for nearly three years.
Krafft worked at Dell Technologies for over 12 years. He was the major account manager for the U.S. Federal EMEA—NATO, where he spearheaded the U.S. Department of Defense business within Europe and Africa. He also spent five years as the major account manager for strategic programs, where he drove the growth of Medical Communications for Combat Casualty Care. He started at Dell in 2000 as an account manager for Army North East.
Prior to that, the Broadcom executive worked at Sirius Federal and Falcon Microsystems.
