In this capacity, he will oversee information security initiatives across the company. He will be responsible for working with Cubic’s defense and transportation services divisions to advance cybersecurity compliance in their operations, according to his LinkedIn profile.
David Fisher’s Career Background
Fisher has over three decades of experience in several areas, including business strategy, project management, business development, public sector IT support, software lifecycle management, IT infrastructure management and security across various sectors, including government, aerospace, healthcare and education.
Prior to Cubic, he spent eight years at OSI Systems, where he served as product security officer and senior director.
Before joining OSI Systems, the IT industry leader was security manager at CNSI, which is now part of Acentra Health.
Fisher spent a decade at the Federal Occupational Health within the Department of Health and Human Services’ Program Support Center and held leadership positions, including information systems security officer and IT director.
His industry career included time as chief information officer at n-Link and business development manager at Aris Consulting.
The University of Wyoming mechanical engineering graduate spent a decade in the U.S. Navy, where he served as regional IT center deputy director and program manager.
