The Department of Defense said Monday the fixed-price incentive, cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-reimbursable contract covers the purchase of Group A and Group B kits, system engineering program management and interim contractor support lay-in material.
The contract will be performed at Boeing facilities in St. Louis, Missouri, and Nashua, New Hampshire. The project’s completion date is Dec. 31, 2030.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in Wright-Patterson Air Force Base will serve as the contracting activity. It will obligate $17.7 million from the Air Force’s fiscal 2023 procurement funds, $87.1 million from fiscal 2024 procurement funds and $157.5 million from fiscal 2025 procurement funds.
In 2020, Boeing was awarded by the Air Force with a six-year contract worth $79.6 million to produce an electronic warfare system for the F-15 aircraft. The company also landed a $478.8 million contract in 2016 to engineer, develop and build the F-15 EW system.
