A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) subsidiary has been awarded a five-year, U.S. Army contract valued at $103.6 million for supplies in support of fielding the M10 Booker combat vehicles.
The Department of Defense said General Dynamics Land Systems, a Sterling Heights, Michigan-based manufacturer of military vehicles, will provide tools and equipment to ensure the M10 Booker platforms are field-ready upon initial deployment.
Work under the firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be concluded on Sept. 18, 2029. Locations and funding will be determined with each order.
The Army solicited proposals for the project through the Internet with only one bid received. The Army Contracting Command in Detroit Arsenal, Michigan serves as the contracting activity.
