NASA is seeking industry comments on its draft Environmental Test and Integration Services IV contract request for proposals.
According to a notice published on SAM.gov, the space agency plans to compete the potential five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support the space agency’s Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate at the Goddard Space Flight Center.
Under ETIS IV, the selected contractor will provide engineering services to aid the AETD’s Mechanical Systems Division and related organizations in designing, building and operating space flight and ground systems hardware and software and tests to validate novel technologies. The ceiling amount of supplies or services that may be procured is $329 million in total.
The upcoming contract follows the $274 million Environmental Test and Integration Services IDIQ awarded to Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) in 2019.
The space agency will host an industry day on Sept. 16, during which interested parties may ask their questions or share their comments on the draft RFP. The in-person event will be held at NASA Goddard Space Flight in Greenbelt, Maryland. Vendors may send up to three representatives to the site. Registrations are open until Sept. 9.
Responses to the draft RFP are due Oct. 3.
