U.S. Transportation Command is soliciting proposals for a potential 10-year, $1.64 billion single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to build a common platform for managing transportation and logistics operations.
TRANSCOM is looking to implement the Joint Transportation Management System by reengineering business processes, performing data interface and integration services and using commercial software to conduct financial, transportation and logistical operations, according to a notice posted Monday on SAM.gov.
The JTMS implementation effort covers services and support in task areas such as contract and program management, business process reengineering, implementation planning, implementation and integration, system technical requirements, testing and validation and training.
JTMS will support approximately 36,000 users across the Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise.
Interested parties have until July 10 to respond to the solicitation.
