Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured a $169.7 million contract to provide sustainment engineering and logistics support services for the MQ-4C Triton remotely piloted aircraft systems of the U.S. Navy and Australian air force.

The contract covers the provision of life cycle program planning, spare and repair parts, support equipment, engineering analyses, test support and associated technical data in support of MQ-4C air vehicles mission control and operator training systems, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Work will occur in California, Maryland, Florida, Washington, Virginia, Arizona, Guam, Italy, Australia and other locations within and outside the contiguous U.S.

DOD expects Northrop to complete work by May 2028.

Naval Air Systems Command awarded the contract on a sole source basis and will obligate funds in the Navy’s fiscal 2024 aircraft procurement, operations and maintenance and research, development, test and evaluation budget.
