Lynn Martin, former vice president of go-to-market at Google Public Sector, has joined Workday to serve as group vice president leading the government sector of the Pleasanton, California-headquartered provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources.
“As revealed during the earnings call in late February, our focus lies in enhancing government applications for financial management, [enterprise resource planning] and [human capital management]. Workday is committed to making a significant impact in supporting governmental missions,” she said Thursday in a LinkedIn post announcing her move.
At Google, she was responsible for delivering company products and services to public sector organizations across North America to drive growth and achieve customer success.
Martin was with VMware for nearly a decade prior to moving to Google, most recently serving as its VP of government, education and healthcare.
Her more than three-decade career also includes time at HP, Compaq, DEC and other technology companies, according to her LinkedIn profile.
