He will manage the company’s growth strategy and oversee the delivery of IT products and services to the Department of Defense in his new capacity, T-Rex said Tuesday.
“Scott’s wealth of IT knowledge and experience in the Defense and Intelligence markets will enable us to continue to expand our footprint in the National Security market and deliver value-added solutions that enhance mission performance,” said Leslie Hubbard-Darr, executive VP of national security accounts at T-Rex.
Wood previously served as CEO at RADA USA, which merged with Leonardo DRS in 2022, and a senior director and lead system engineer at RTX (NYSE: RTX).
He first joined Leonardo DRS in 2010 as VP of engineering within the company’s intelligence, communications and avionics systems division.
Before that, he spent over a decade at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), taking on several roles such as engineering program director and senior operations manager.
