Kay Kapoor, founder and CEO of management consulting firm Arya Technologies, has been appointed to the board of directors at Dayton, Ohio-headquartered government technology provider Frontier Technology Inc.
The three-time Wash100 awardee has decades of government contracting experience and will help FTI broaden its access to technology decision-makers in the GovCon sector, the company said Thursday.
“Kay Kapoor brings a long and successful track record in serving customers, building high-performance teams, and leading fast-scaling defense and public sector businesses,” said Ron Shroder, CEO of FTI.
Before founding Arya Technologies, Kapoor was executive vice president and president of the global public sector at AT&T (NYSE: T). She joined the broadband company following a two-year stint as CEO of Accenture‘s (NYSE: ACN) federal business.
The executive held various roles of increasing responsibility during her 20-year career at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), including VP and chief operating officer of Information Systems and Global Solutions-Civil business unit.
