Insight Technology Hires Former Acuity Exec Robert Hardin as COO

Robert Hardin, former vice president of business development and strategy at Acuity International, has been appointed as chief operating officer at Insight Technology Solutions.

He brings to Insight more than two decades of experience in strategic growth planning and business development for government and private customers, the professional services provider said Tuesday.

In his new role, Hardin will help manage the company’s internal processes and procedures, human resources functions, financial management and strategy.

The U.S. Coast Guard Reserve veteran previously served as an associate partner at IBM (NYSE: IBM), director of business development at BayFirst Solutions and program manager at QinetiQ North America.

Hardin oversaw federal responses to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and ecological threats as a member of the USCG National Strike Force.
