Guy Montminy, former president of the platforms and services sector at BAE Systems’ U.S. arm and a previous Wash100 Award winner, will succeed Scott Howat as senior vice president for finance on Sept. 5.
He will report to Tom Arseneault, president and CEO of BAE Systems Inc. and a two-time Wash100 awardee, as he oversees the financial operations of U.S.-based businesses as part of the subsidiary’s senior leadership team, the company said Wednesday.
Montminy held the same role from 2014 to 2016 and led the P&S sector from 2018 to 2020.
The more than three-decade BAE veteran previously served as an adviser on various company programs and held executive leadership posts in finance, acquisitions and divestitures, operations and business capture.
He also led the company’s Financial Leadership Development Program and previously served for over a decade as a member of the accounting academic advisory board of the University of New Hampshire’s Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics.
