Executive Mosaic has featured Michael Brown, director of the Defense Innovation Unit, in the 2022 Wash100 class for his leadership in agency efforts to bring advanced commercial technology to the U.S. military.
This marks the first time Brown has been selected to Executive Mosaic’s annual list of leaders who shape the government contracting landscape. He has led the Department of Defense’s innovation arm since September 2018. Under his leadership, DIU delivered eight technology platforms from industry partners to DOD end-users during fiscal year 2021.
