Peraton will provide management support to a NASA facility that hosts balloon-based scientific experiments under a potential seven-year, $339.1 million contract.
Locations of work include the Columbia Scientific Balloon Facility in Texas, the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia and a company-run facility.
NOBC II tasks encompass facility maintenance, balloon flight operations and engineering support work.
The base performance period is scheduled to commence on June 1 and continue through May 31 next year. NASA said the award has three option periods that would extend work until May 31, 2029.
