CTC said Thursday Perkins founded and led MTS, which provided technical and logistics support to customers at the Department of Defense and other federal agencies.
He has been involved in consulting engagements after the sale of his company in 2017 and is the creator of The Challenge Program, a nonprofit organization that helps high school students establish career paths.
“His military experience as well as his accomplishments in the defense sector and beyond will provide invaluable insight and complement our current board membership very well,” CTC President and CEO Ed Sheehan said.
Perkins previously served as a U.S. Marine Corps liaison officer to Congress during his military service and later worked at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) where he recruited employees for the company’s new business practice areas.
