Ted Hanson, president and CEO of ASGN, said Wednesday during the company’s quarterly earnings call that Wilson, who has been with ECS since 2011, will continue to serve as a consultant with ASGN through April 2022.
“George and John have worked closely together for over two decades, and John has been preparing for this new role as part of our planned succession process over the past two years,” Hanson said.
Heneghan brings to the role over two decades of experience in digital transformation, emerging technology, information technology product development, business strategy, program management, corporate development and managed services. Prior to becoming COO, he served as senior vice president of enterprise solutions for three years.
Prior to ECS, Heneghan served as a VP at CGI’s (NYSE: GIB) federal arm and director of corporate development and proposals at Stanley Associates, now part of the CGI Federal business.
“George and his leadership team have expertly navigated the federal government marketplace to meet the most critical and complex needs of our clients to reach $1.0 billion in revenues well ahead of our initial expectations,” Hanson added.
