Joe Durbin, a seven-year senior program director at CSRA, which is now part of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was elevated to the role of account director at GD’s information technology business where he will be responsible for Centers for Disease Control and Prevention-focused business activities.
According to his LinkedIn profile, the CDC account director oversees a portfolio with annual revenue of $100 million in professional services contracts. He also has profit and loss, program management and growth target oversight.
Durbin said Sunday in a LinkedIn post his team is looking to hire more individuals and expand in support of the company’s CDC customers.
His career includes past work with McKing Consulting and Emory Healthcare. He also performed consulting and management services for CDC’s IT, application development, health communications and other projects during his time with the agency.
Durbin thanked GDIT Vice Presidents Sumesh Sundareswaran and Kamal Narang for the new opportunity.
