Donna Roy, former chief operating officer of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, has joined Guidehouse to serve as strategic adviser for the company’s national security segment.
Jim Chaparro, a Guidehouse partner, announced Roy’s appointment in a LinkedIn post.
Roy was appointed to the COO role at the bureau in July 2020 after her prior role as chief information officer there. Her government career also included 13 years of service at the Department of Homeland Security, where she led DHS’ enterprise data management and information sharing and services offices.
She also managed the U.S. Geological Survey’s National Biological Information Infrastructure Program.
Before she joined the government, Roy was worked as vice president for technology development at Transamerica Real Estate Information Companies.
