Vishay Precision Group (NYSE: VPG) has purchased Diversified Technical Systems, a Southern California-based provider of data acquisition and sensor technology for testing applications, in an approximately $47 million deal.
Malvern, Pennsylvania-basedVPG said Tuesday it will fund the payment through new borrowing and cash on hand.
VPG CEO Ziv Shoshani said the deal adds embedded data acquisition and logging systems to the company’s sensor portfolio for avionics and military customers.
