Jamie Sybert, a more than two-decade government contracting industry veteran, has been appointed a principal and leader of the GovCon advisory practice at Grant Thornton.
She will be responsible for developing the firm’s accounting and regulatory consulting service offerings aimed at contractors, Grant Thornton said Monday.
Sybert has worked with public and private sector clients during her previous roles at Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, Jacobs (NYSE: J), CH2M, Ernest & Young LLP and Bechtel.
Her professional experience includes the areas of regulatory compliance, internal controls, finance management and contract administration.
“I am thrilled to join Grant Thornton and look forward to building the firm’s presence in the government contracting space,” she said.
