Hoboken, N.J.-based cloud managed services company Effectual has purchased technology services provider Five Talent in a move to apply the latter’s DevOps and Amazon Web Services partner experience to support customers in modernization projects.
Bend, Ore.-based Five Talent holds AWS Competency designations in the DevOps, mobile and software-as-a-service areas and previously secured an AWS 50 Certified status for advanced consulting partners, Effectual said Wednesday.
Effectual plans to integrate its modernization engineering experience with the acquired firm's DevOps automation, SaaS enablement, custom application development and cloud-based workload processing experience.
Robb Allen, CEO of Effectual, said both companies have been working on a number of partnerships and intend to combine their experience, skill sets, geographic reach and resources to help public sector clients modernize IT operations.
Effectual also holds the AWS Government Competency designation and the Master Services Competency status for VMware Cloud on AWS.
The deal marks Effectual’s second acquisition after buying JHC Technology and securing a $50M investment from Catalyst Investors and Lumerity Capital earlier this year.
