Crowley Maritime Subsidiary to Continue Transcom Freight Coordination Support Under $328M Contract Modification

Crowley Maritime‘s logistics subsidiary has received a one-year, $328M contract modification from U.S. Transportation Command to coordinate the movement of Department of Defense cargo shipments within the continental U.S. and Canada.

Efforts under the contract are intended to continue surface transport services to the Defense Contract Management Agency and the Defense Logistics Agency via the Freight Transportation Services initiative, the Pentagon said Thursday.

The modification extends work Crowley Logistics has performed under the original $110.2M contract awarded in 2016 and brings the contract’s total potential value to $438.2M.

Work is scheduled to conclude by July 31, 2020.
