Edouard Benjamin, former vice president of the Food and Drug Administration programs division at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has been appointed VP of business development for the company’s government health and safety solutions unit, FedHealthIT reported Wednesday.
The more than 29-year federal health and information technology market veteran will be responsible for identifying business opportunities at the Social Security Administration and Department of Health and Human Services in his new role.
Benjamin previously spent more than 11 years at Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC), where he held roles such as program director, senior project manager and senior software engineer.
He also worked at the National Institutes of Healths Electronic Research Administration as program manager for software development support services.
