Wellpath, formerly Correct Care Solutions, has won a potential five-year, $100.3M contract from the Department of Justice’s Bureau of Prisons to provide managed healthcare services to the Federal Correctional Complex in Beaumont, Texas.
The company will manage the prison’s medical facilities as well as inpatient and outpatient care for inmates under the firm-fixed-priced contract announced Wednesday on FedBizOpps.
FOB sought providers operating community-based clinics within a driving distance of 100 miles from FCC Beaumont.
The contract has one base year and four 12-month options.
Wellpath is a Nashville, Tenn.-based provider of medical and behavioral healthcare services to correctional, inpatient and residential treatment facilities.
