John Visentin, formerly operating partner at Advent International and senior adviser to the chairman at Exela Technologies (Nasdaq: XELA), has joined Xerox (NYSE: XRX) as CEO and vice chair of the companys board of directors.
Xerox said Tuesday Keith Cozza, Icahn Enterprises president and CEO, was named chairman of the technology firms board and that it will conduct its annual shareholders meeting on July 31.
Visentin, who assumed his post Monday, previously served as a consultant at Icahn Capital, executive chairman and CEO of Novitex Enterprise Solutions, adviser at Apollo Global Management (NYSE: APO) and as a board chair at Presidio (Nasdaq: PSDO).
He also oversaw business units at IBM (NYSE: IBM), Hewlett-Packard and other information technology services companies.
