Roger Krone, chairman and CEO of Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), has been elected to serve as vice chair of the Professional Services Councils board of directors beginning Jan. 1.
The newly elected official will work with other board members to provide policy oversight and strategic direction for the trade group in support of the government technology and professional services industry, PSC said Monday.
PV Puvvada, president ofUnisys (NYSE: UIS) federal business, was also appointed chair of PSCs board of directors during the associations annual membership meeting Thursday.
Krone and Puvvada are both inductees into Executive Mosaics Wash100 for 2017.
Krone joined the Reston, Va.-based government services contractor in July 2014 as CEO after a nearly 40-year career in the aerospace industry.
PSC also elected 15 executives from government technology services companies to the 2018 executive committee, which includes two new members and 13 continuing members.
The council noted that 11 executives were appointed as new board members and 18 members were re-elected to serve for another three-year terms on the association’s board.
Fifty-three member company executives who were not subject to re-election will continue to serve on the board in 2018, PSC added.
