Clyde “Tom” Nixon, a more than 25-year public sector market veteran, has joined MetroStar Systems as chief growth officer at the Reston, Virginia-based information technology and consulting services contractor.
He will oversee MetroStar’s growth strategies and help align its business operations with consumer preferences and market dynamics in his new position, the company said Tuesday.
“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to support the company’s long-term goals,” Nixon said.
He most recently led Nixon Management Group, which he also established to offer consulting services to companies that aim to grow and win contracts in the federal sector.
Before that, he served as chief growth officer and executive vice president at the former SRA International, and worked as VP of business development and marketing for Science Applications International Corp.‘s (NYSE: SAIC) defense solutions group.
