John Hassoun
John Hassoun, former president and CEO of software developer Vistronix Intelligence and Technology Solutions, has been appointed to the same dual role at Chantilly, Virginia-based defense technology provider VT Group.
VT Group said Monday the more than 25-year government market veteran will oversee the company’s overall executive management and business strategy in his new position.
Hassoun previously led Vistronix from 2012 through its 2016 acquisition by Beltsville, Maryland-based government contractor ASRC Federal.
He also worked as co-CEO of ATS Corp., which Salient Federal Solutions purchased in 2012, as well as held leadership positions at General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), Veridian, Global Integrated Security and Olive Group.
Before he joined industry, Hassoun spent six years at the U.S. Air Force as a program manager.
