The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has awarded Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory a potential five-year, $98 million contract for engineering, development and research services.
APL will help DARPA create and maintain a tool to support engineering and developmental efforts that seek the practical application of scientific and technical investigative findings or theories, the Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday.
DARPA intends to obligate the minimum guaranteed amount upon issuance of the first task order.
The company will perform work in Laurel, Maryland through November 2021 and DoD said task orders under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract can extend until May 2022.
