Bob Smith, former chief operating officer of ASRC Federal‘s information and technical solutions operating group, has been appointed to the same position at Greenbelt, Maryland-based X3M Systems.
X3M Systems said Friday Smith will bring nearly 40 years of technical service delivery experience in the federal market to his new role and will work to establish and manage an operational environment for the government-certified 8(a) information technology services contractor.
“His extraordinary success in assisting young companies like ours to rapidly realize their potential with innovation, honesty and hard work perfectly fits our culture and our vision, ” said X3M CEO Ehsan Bozorgi.
Smith also previously held leadership positions at ASRC Federal’s subsidiary InuTeq, Justin and Tull, OAO and Bendix Field Engineering.
He also established and led International Computers and Severn River Software as president of both companies.
