Karen Forgy Hicks, formerly vice president and chief administration officer at Secure Mission Solutions, has been hired as executive vice president of operations at Siteworx.
Hicks will be responsible for the firm’s daily operations, internal processes and team performance to drive customer service, Siteworx said Tuesday.
Ken Quaglio, Siteworx president and CEO, said the new operations VP will work to implement new customer-oriented processes that aim to build up the business.
Prior to joining Secure Mission Solutions, which Parsons purchased in 2014, Hicks helped QinetiQ North America set up a program management office that handles a $210 million portfolio.
She was also a program management lead at America Online and Bell Atlantic, which has been renamed Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ).
Hicks previously oversaw the product development and deployment efforts at AOL in support of more than 30 million subscribers.
She received a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University.
