Solipsys, a subsidiary of RTX business Collins Aerospace, has secured a potential four-year, $182 million contract from the U.S. Navy to provide software licenses and lifecycle support for software sustainment.
Contract Scope
The Department of Defense said Monday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also covers technical support services for software applications that process, display and provide sensor functionality within the service’s Common Aviation Command and Control System software baseline.
Contract work will occur in Fulton, Maryland, through March 9, 2029.
Marine Corps Systems Command is the contracting activity and will obligate funds upon issuance of individual delivery and task orders.
In May 2019, Solipsys received a contract to help the Marine Corps update software applications running on the common aviation C2 platform.
What Does Solipsys Do?
Maryland-based Solipsys develops integrated command and control network-centric platforms for the DOD and the Department of Homeland Security. Its products include the Tactical Display Framework Java-certified visualization tool and Multi Source Correlator Tracker software applications, which offer information synthesis and display capabilities.
The company’s Tactical Component Network software suite works to create a network solution for sharing sensor information among distributed joint and coalition forces.
