Christian Brose and Matthew Steckman have been elevated to new executive roles at Anduril Industries.
The defense technology contractor said Thursday Brose was promoted to president and chief strategy officer while Steckman is now president and chief business officer.
Christian Brose’s Key Responsibilities and Career Highlights
Brose, a 2022 Wash100 Award winner, will spearhead the company’s core growth activities. This includes business development, corporate strategy, government relations, international business and communications.
The executive was previously the chief strategy officer for six years before his promotion. He is a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution and a former senior fellow at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Brose served in the U.S. Senate Committee on Armed Services from 2009 to 2018 and was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations around the same time. He also served in the Department of State as policy advisor and chief speechwriter for Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. He was also a speechwriter for the late former Secretary Colin Powell.
Matthew Steckman’s New Role and Career Overview
In his new role, Steckman will oversee Anduril’s core internal functions, such as managing corporate operations, executive activities, divisional operations, business performance and revenue generation. He was also tasked with driving the company’s strategic direction with a focus on operational efficiency and sustainable growth across its defense and security services portfolio.
Before joining Anduril, Steckman served as the chief revenue officer of Zipline International. He was also the head of business operations at Palantir Technologies.
