Ed Boyington Kicks Off Role as V2X Board Member

Ed Boyington, former president and CEO of The Vertex Company, announced in a LinkedIn post his new role as a member of the board of directors at V2X (NYSE: VVX).

He was named to the board following the completion of the Vectrus-Vertex merger in July 2022, forming V2X as a new critical-mission platforms and services provider to defense customers worldwide.

Boyington was president of L-3 Vertex Aerospace. He also served as president of L-3 Flight International and executive vice president of federal programs and site executive at L-3 Communications.

He spent four years as VP and general manager of DRS Technologies and nearly two years as president and CEO of Galaxy Technologies.

Boying is a retired U.S. Navy rear admiral and held several leadership positions during his military career, including chief of naval air training, commander of Mine Warfare Command and Navy Region South and chief systems engineer for patrol and reconnaissance aircraft.
